@jaz@toot.walesHey #Fediverse I just want to say despite all the things we'd like to improve, I love what we have, what we've built. There's more to do, but I'm so happy to browse the timeline and see people sharing photos and snippets of their lives. We have something incredible here. That is all.
@jaz I agree completely! Yes, we have a lot of work to do still, but I'm loving the direction things are taking here. At least the good stuff.
Some weeks are really rough. And I worry about how vulnerable so many are here, but I do feel like we can and will make improvements.
Other weeks, are just pure joy.
@kristinHenry @jaz I don’t feel so optimistic.
But maybe that’s because I’ve been on the receiving end of abuse and discrimination here, coming directly from the admin and mods of a certain instance that claims to be very open and forward thinking. As long as you’re a WASP.
The fediverse is just an amazing and positive little work in progress.
