@jtb we do technically have a few, they're just not very invasive. If you look at e.g. toot.wales/explore/suggestions there's an algorithm at work.

There's also some work underway to allow personal algorithms, early, but interesting: spectra.video/w/xtZeTuwpYAqPsz

@jaz What I am thinking about is conversations. I follow many hashtags so there are plenty of things coming up which are interesting. But they are all like posters or bumper stickers. They don't have replies very often. In fact at the end of that video, he showed his timeline and there were no replies. I have a feeling people don't reply to things they agree with, so to get conversation you need something like the department of arguments.

@jtb hmm, I see quite a lot of replies in my feeds, must be a topic-related deal. Generally I'd say about 5 to 10 percent of posts get interactions.
