- copying my oblivion remaster to a new SSD
- one file won't copy, a critical boot file but it's only a few meg
- run "repair installation" in xbox app thinking it'll work out just to download that one file that won't copy
- watch as it starts redownloading the entire 118.5 gigabytes
...
fetch the deer.
@llamasoft_ox If my experience with the xbox app is anything to go by, it's moved the old folder somewhere else and is just reinstalling the game - eating all that space in the process. I had a similar issue with Phantasy Star Online 2 - it'd fail to do *something* and just dump 65gb of game in the xbox folder that is a pain in the arse to get shut of. Your deer is extremely accurate, sadly.

Well, if one makes a deal with the devil...
A couple of days ago I stumbled upon the Master Chief Collection on Steam and thought "Why not? 10€ for 5 legendary games or so you don't know is a good deal".
First surprise: its only 35 GB to install.
Second surprise: Ugh, of course it needs a MS login, why didn't I think about this, thankfully my wife has a business one
Third surprise: The single player campaigns need to be installed ingame seperately? What are the 35 GB for?
