A big shout-out to Juliette Reinders Folmer (@jrf_nl), thanks to the synchronicities of life and the @opencollective meet-up in Berlin, I had the chance to connect with her for a couple of days, which left me totally inspired and changed forever.
Not only is Juliette an amazing human being, but she is also a giant of the open-source ecosystem. You probably use some of her work without even knowing it.
@jrf_nl: you inspire me to continue and change things even more. I cannot say how grateful I am for having met and spent time with you while I was traveling after my talks.
A big shout-out to one of the most inspiring maintainers, who reminds us that the open-source projects we rely on need to be funded while they are still thriving, not when they are struggling.
Grace to you, awesome woman, human, speaker, talker, and now friend. <3
You must watch her talk: [Keynote: Sustainable Open Source is the Future](https://wordpress.tv/2024/07/03/keynote-sustainable-open-source-is-the-future/)
@tlaurion @jrf_nl @opencollective Listening to the keynote, I wrote for communal clarity in case of #maintainer #death and how to continue maintenance of my #FOSS #projects.

Really, I wonder how to reach out to increase the #busFactor of my projects. But in case this has not happened tomorrow, there is my #software #will :)
My intention is also to flag up the issues we face as a community.
