The roll-out of 20mph limits in Wales is leading to reduced insurance premiums as the value of claims falls which is great news for motorists, as well as those passionate about reducing the costs of road casualties.

@nspugh I have to say, I’m always skeptical of these articles that shout loud about the benefits of the 20mph limit, even more so when it comes to insurance companies who are notorious for finding the angle to charge more.
The reason for the skepticism? In my experience, it’s less than 10% of drivers (certainly where I am) adhere to the limit, or even stay close to it, for the main part, it’s business as usual at 30+mph. This includes every Police car that I’ve followed since the introduction

@nspugh curious. I’m on the outskirts of Swansea, depending on the area, I’d say it’s between <5 - 10% adhere to it. Having said that, I do find the drivers here to be aggressive, and somewhat lacking in courtesy
