taken a couple more tentative steps in my de-googling journey by switching up some of the apps on my phone.
Got F-droid which is really cool, although it feels like a different option to Google Play rather than a replacement, similar to switching TV channel or something.
Not that that's a bad thing. Using F-droid gave me that sort of happy hopeful feeling I vaguely remember from before tech was hollowed out and monetized to oblivion
@nuala If you have Telegram installed you can type 'apps' in the search bar. There are a few molded apps for popular video streaming sites, Disney, Netflix etc. Not sure how safe they are as they are molded tho. Use at your own risk.
