Day 14 of the 2022 . Ruddy Darter looks quite like Common Darter, especially the females. Males are very bright red and have a "waist" in the abdomen. This one was at Meadows in August.

A bright red dragonfly, the abdomen slightly thinner in the middle than at either end, with black legs which don't have pale stripes on them.
