Yesterday and , and I got busy and cleaned up the last of the butternut squash (var. Honeynut) since all of the vines have now died back. We managed another 53 "almost-ripe" stragglers bringing our total of squashes harvested to 225 from our squash patch. I've got 50 of the best ones stashed away for our own use over the coming months and the rest went to neighbors and family. We also set out some more veg. for the neighbors.
