#WritingWonders day 8.
How are weddings celebrated in your world?
Both WIPs are 18th century England / England & Wales - so the marriage ceremony itself is held in a Church of England place of worship, with a CofE priest presiding. There are at least 2 witnesses as well as bride & groom, but more normally the pews are filled with family & friends. Everyone's dressed in their Sunday Best - if wealthy they may wear a new outfit. There's a celebratory meal afterwards.
