Long COVID is destroying me. My lungs and heart hurt every second of every day. I'm totally exhausted. I can't breathe properly. The brain fog is ridiculous. I can't sleep properly, although I got 9 hours last night which is unheard of for me. It's awful.
Please wear a mask.
I had a review call with my VA this morning and she suggested breaking down my work day into half hour on, half hour off, to help me rest, and I nearly cried!
She's doing that for me (calendar blocking) and then going to input what I'm doing in each half hour slot so I don't have to think.
I cannot tell you what an enormous difference having a VA who understands neurodivergence is making to me.
@alexisbushnell offers supportive hugs
@alexisbushnell it sucks in twenty dimensions.

@alexisbushnell Ah I see. Very cool
@alexisbushnell I am sorry long covid is taking so much toll on you. It is horrendous we have normalised this.
I am pleased you are getting some work assistance at least.
@alexisbushnell So much empathy for you. I’ve been dealing with long covid for over 2 years now, and finally had to stop working in September. I wish I had had someone who knows how to deal with neurodivergence! Best wishes and may your health be stable at baseline.
@bhawthorne I'm so sorry you've been struggling with it for so long.
@alexisbushnell I'm sorry you're suffering so much and hope things begin to get a lot easier soon. Still masking, in both self-interest and solidarity.
@alexisbushnell. We wear N95 masks for you and everybody. The comfort of relaxed breathing is beyond the reach of many people with long covid. . #LongCovid, #CovidIsNotOver, #COVIDisAirborne, #CovidCautious, #covidconscious, #minnesota.
@alexisbushnell I wear a mask where ever I go and I have no plans to stop this habit. I hope you feel better soon
