Here's some interesting lettering spotted yesterday at the Cutlers Hall, Sheffield during one of their rare open days.
The hand written sign, dating from the 1930's, explains the large mural that it stands in front of. The display relates to the career of Sheffield industrialist Sir Robert Hatfield. We are not told the names of the artist and the calligrapher. Sorry, but there are no ampersands!
