Pounded in the butt by my inability to uninvert Christmas present selfies.

A surprised looking man name of me holds a book. The text on the book cover is inverted. If you could read mirror writing you would see that it is "Bury Your Gays" by Chuck Tingle. The composition of the photo is meant to evoke that of the covers for Mr Tingle's tinglers (books that typically have titles beginning with "Pounded in the butt by..."), except there is no grinning manifestation of my inability to uninvert images hovering behind me.

I just heard that Chuck Tingle has published two queer horror books

I finished the audiobook of Camp Damascus by @chucktingle today. I enjoyed it. As a queer neurodivergent person raised in a fundamentalist religion which believes in literal demons, I found it very relatable. #queerBooks #ChuckTingle #horror #ReligiousHorror #bookstodon Oh yeah, and the narrator is Mara Wilson, the star of the Matilda movie.

Having lived in Texas and worked there as a librarian, this does not surprise me. But in the end, as Chuck says, "love is real."

@farah I just ordered it; the book about the show; and Camp Damascus, the latest @chucktingle book -- all in hardback (because the hb's were almost the same price as the Kindle ebooks). Should make for some interesting reading once they make it to the top of my TBR pile.
