Probably the only truly nice fabric design I have ever made on Spoonflower is where I formatted the entirety of The Legend of Sleepy Hollow (in a period-appropriate font!) onto one square yard of fabric. Everyone thinks it's really cool, but no one ever buys it. UNTIL TODAY!

FWIW my favourite “Halloween” movie is probably Sleepy Hollow.
It may indeed by my favourite movie from either Tim Burton or Johnny Depp. The rest of the cast is excellent too.
Work continues on the Horseman. I'm using Apple Barrel craft paints for the majority of the base coating. They work well once you get the hang of it.
Small and important details I'll handle with the fancy and/or pancy miniature paints.
Washes and dry-brshes will then follow after a quick gloss seal.
I might just get this done on time (Oct. 29, 11:59pm), but I don't wanna jinx it.

All the parts are primed for the Headless Horseman.
I used Duplicolor Black and Tamiya Fine White in rattle cans.
Hopefully the black will serve as a good enough base coat for the horse and Hessian.
I might be able to get this done in about a week. We'll see. It's a big kit.
The Dullahan, a spectral figure from Irish folklore, roams the night with its head in hand! Haunting specific locations, these eerie beings can be both malevolent and benevolent. A captivating blend of myth and mystery!

In the original Washington Irving short story and the Disney movie, the Headless Horseman was said to carry his own severed head. That Ichabod Crane gets hit by a pumpkin instead is a big clue that he's being attacked by a disguised Brom Bones instead of the real Horseman.

A lot of cleanup and some thinning on the Headless Horseman's cape. There was also a huge brick of a part number that needed ground away.

I've always loved the movie for its story, its #Gothic-ness, and its main cast. The story really could have used more #women in it, but still.
The men of this supporting cast really do deserve all the shout-outs. The film could not have been its #eerie, drama-laden best without them.
