Hospitals fight Push to regulate Costs

House Bill 350, sponsored by #ValerieLonghurst and supported by Gov. #JohnCarney, seeks to create a #Hospital #CostReviewBoard, which will be responsible for reviewing and approving annual budgets for the state’s major hospitals

The board would feature three appointments from the governor and one each from the leaders of the state’s House of Representatives and Senate.

Delaware’s hospitals have opposed the bill, however, calling it a “grave threat to quality health care in the state.” 🤔

ChristianaCare provided free services…to a group of neonatology physicians…”

"Let’s get real. We have reached the point where #decarbonisation will happen with the #FossilFuel industry or without them.

The powerful state-owned companies as well as international firms have to decide whether they transition to the energies of the 21st century and thereby accelerate the exponential curve of the #EnergyTransition, or if their flame dies out while they remain blind and in pernicious resistance."
