The Merlin birdsong app didn't recognise them, but they were very chatty. Photos taken (with phone camera, apols for poor quality) in May in central Sweden. EDIT TO ADD: current suggestions are black redstart or yellowhammer, both of which look plausible, but don't quite match the call, which I can best describe as a rising pweee sound followed by one or two clipped chips...

Apart from species indigenous to specific regions I thought this one would be one of the hardest because of its stealthy lifestyle.
