IanHere's another one of my projects from last year. A combination of solid walnut and walnut plywood. There is record storage underneath and a playlist holder on the right. The yellow speaker cloth also matches our couch.<br>

LionelB<p>Other hardwood cuttings have done very well but I was very sceptical about Catalpa, the Indian Bean Tree.</p><p>The wood is very lightweight, like balsa, so there is very little substance there. Also, buds break very late. My tree is just starting now.</p><p>So I was amazed that all four of the cuttings have tiny green buds. C.<p>After a trying couple of weeks, I completed a personal project today. Surface is <a href="https://mindly.social/tags/birch" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>birch</span></a> <a href="https://mindly.social/tags/plywood" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>plywood</span></a>, with <a href="https://mindly.social/tags/cherry" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>cherry</span></a> <a href="https://mindly.social/tags/hardwood" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>hardwood</span></a> for edging and a back lip so I can't push stuff off the back by accident.
