BregjeToday was King's Day in the Netherlands and I spent it with my family, visiting the local flea market. It's been a few years since I ate a tompouce (as is tradition on this day), but this vegan version my mom made was pretty good👌 Also got a cool escape room card game at the flea market, so all in all not a bad day🌻<br>

abadidea<p>today is the king's birthday here in the Netherlands, but Odin stole the show from him in Amsterdam. He was a massive hit with the crowd, and he was an absolute angel of good behavior. </p><p>It's the only day of the year that unlicensed yard sales are legal in the Netherlands, so the streets are lined with children peddling stuff to earn some pocket change. There was a three-year-old who was frightened by Odin looming over her, she tried to run away, and she tripped and fell. Meestal is het hier tot een uur of twaalf wel te doen en daarna begint de grote invasie van zuipers en pissers, mede mogelijk gemaakt door de NS. Je kunt dan alleen nog maar schuifelend door de buurt. Het is na Carnaval volgens mij het superspread event van Nederland. Tot overmaat van ramp heeft iemand de stoep voor mijn huis geclaimd als verkoopruimte, afgebakend met krijt en een naam.
