How did they manage to get John Barry and an entire symphony to do the score for this?! The film was originally made for American International Pictures, but after seeing the final cut, they declined to release it. New World Pictures stepped in instead.”</p><p>How terrible does a movie have to be for AIP to decline to release it? </p><p>Oh, yeah. But by checking IMDB I’ve discovered a major plot problem in the 2nd half of this movie:</p><p>“Caroline Munro was originally going to wear a skimpy leather bikini outfit through the entire film, but American studio executives insisted that writer/director Luigi Cozzi have Munro wear less provocative clothing in the second half because they thought the film would have problems being broadcast on network television.”</p>

Maybe have their giant fembot shoot a shatner ray at the emperor's fighters or something. But that would require more continuity than this movie could spare, I guess?</p>
