I think it's actually impossible to mention your kids' limited food tastes without someone informing you that they never make different meals for everyone and someone else (or possibly the same person) chiming in to tell you they have only one rule: They they at least *taste* everything.
Not to imply that this this is a bad rule or anything! I think it's good. We do it ourselves. I'm just bored of hearing about it when I didn't ask.

@garicgymro We typically cook a mass-market dish, a baby kindergarten dish, and then our oldest also cooks herself what I think qualifies as a deep midwest forgotten stop-over night gas station trucker food. If more than 50% of the household eats my soup, I'm happy, and feel existentially fulfilled for 2-3 days after.
