@IoanSaid I didn’t realise it was portrait to start with, it didn’t adjust automatically when I pressed Play.

The speed!

Did you learn a lot? I don’t mean that to sound cheeky, I suppose the best way to clarify is, did you learn lots of completely new things, or was it a series of refinements to a higher level? Or a mix?

@hischeekiness I did learn a lot but also because all the tools are there and they have loads of bikes for you to practise on, I felt really confident trying the skills I was learning which made me feel like I was learning really fast :)

Wonder what it’s like for them setting it up for the students? “I’ll just purposefully mess this bike up…” type of counterintuitive thought process.

@hischeekiness They don't think about it too much, there's litterally justa bunch of bikes to work on.

At one point he showed us how to to service a hub, take off and put on a cassette and adjust the derailleur... and then he took us out of the room, went back in, fiddled with the screws, cut the cables and told us to fix them! :)
