I enjoyed teaching Rita Buchanan’s moebius cast-on so much at Wonderwool Wales that I’m thinking of designing a new moebius pattern specifically starting with this cast-on! It’s quite easy to do and creates a lovely invisible cast on at the centre of your knitting.
@KathAndrews Is this like Cat Bordhi's mobius cast on?
@Archergal it has the same effect but there are a few differences - you’ve already worked half the first round by the time you’ve got all the stitches on the needles
@KathAndrews Is there a write-up of it on the web anywhere? I've never heard of one by Rita.
@Archergal I can’t remember where I found it now. I’d thought it was mentioned in Cat Bordhi’s Treasury of Magical Knitting but I’ve just looked through that and it’s not mentioned. I’m sure a google would help you find it!

@Archergal apparently it first was published in an article in Spin-Off Magazine in Fall 2000.
@KathAndrews Ah, thank you! I would have had that magazine once upon a time, but I cleared out a bunch of older issues a while back.
