After the super detailed drawing I wanted to do something quick. 45 minutes counts as quick I suppose. Used a thicker pen and it came out more graphic.
@aegir I *wish* I could draw/paint. I can just about manage some matchstick men (not in Lowry’s league), despite coming from a family where mum was an art teacher, dad did furniture design in his spare time, and two brothers can do ‘art’ better than our parents. #childofmilkman
@JamieR Do you have any time to give it a go?
@aegir well, ish. I work for myself, but my hobby is making ‘stuff’ (usually from wood), so I could justifiably make it a work thing, but as with everyone, life tends to get in the way!
@JamieR Oh I know about life (work!) getting in the way. What do you make?
@aegir my customers mainly like reclaimed wood things like breakfast bars, doors, cabinets etc, but I’m also in the (slow) process of building a wooden ‘cabin’ type thing from scratch, and a proper bed for myself, and kitchen units etc … I suppose “furniture” would be the term
@JamieR Nice!
@aegir having said that, I’ve also got a 3D printer that’s used an awful lot for toys and the like
@aegir This platform is doing some image swaps. Great drawing though (the real one).
@aegir Oh man,
I’m so envious of your talent! I can’t draw a straight line with a ruler. Gorgeous little drawing.
@brad Thank you!
@blue Thank you!
@aegir (Tired and out of words! Communicating through the medium of emoji and punctuation )
@aegir very good. Like some of the others here I cannot understand the process of doing this at all. It is pure magic to me.
@bleepbloop It does feel a bit trance-like!
@aegir Really lovely work.
@cdevroe Thank you!
