I have been looking for something I'm not even aware exists on Windows, so this is what I'm looking for, a #simulator for #electronic #circuit design, can anyone help me in this community or the #fediverse
@ceri thank you, Ceri, I have something called '#EveryCircuit' that I purchased on #Android but it's a bit clunky.
@andrewmorgan No problem. Am sure you’ll find the edges of this well before I do, so would be interested to hear how it turns out (just out of curiosity)
@ceri Ceri, do we know each other from the other place?
@andrewmorgan I don’t think so, though I used that in quite a different way.
@ceri I used to talk to a Ceri Davies, she was from the Diff
@andrewmorgan oh definitely not me then, wrong genotype
@ceri I apologise, I go sit on the naughty step
@andrewmorgan ltspice is ok. Usable but a bit clunky until you get used to it. https://www.analog.com/en/design-center/design-tools-and-calculators/ltspice-simulator.html
@jaz thank you, Jaz, I don't wish to buy a breadboard or stash of semiconductors, I know that some of these simulations can be rather good, with ability to take measurements and inject signals and use oscilloscope
@andrewmorgan Maybe one of these meets your needs? (At first glance, Qucs seems to be quite versatile) https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_free_electronics_circuit_simulators
@hrobisch thank you, Hendrik, much appreciated, boosted and bookmarked.
