ENG 7-0 IRE
England like to get a score within the first ten minutes, and true to form Youngs grubs one through the defensive line and Ford and Farrell flummox Sexton who fumbles the ball in the try zone allowing Ford to snatch it for a grounding.
Ireland respond with a territorial gain, good lineout, powerful maul, England cough up a couple of advantage penalties. Sexton opts to grab a quick three but manages to pull it way wide despite being under the posts. Dropout England.

England continue to surprise. When you think they'll go wide they turn tight and run. When you think they're gonna kick they crash through. Fast ball, clean breakdowns. I wish I could find something to dislike, but like the flustered Ireland I'm coming up short.
For Farrell and Daly having a great day, storming up to the Irish tryline but a Daly knock on snuffs this set of phases out.
Replacements start streaming on.

Into the last ten minutes at Twickenham. Ireland's fresh blood is hammering away with some nice lines, but England's line speed continues to muffle most efforts. It all ends sadly as England turn it over at the breakdown and this game is pretty much done. The real question now is whether or not Ireland can keep the bonus point away from England.

ENG 24-12 IRE
Ireland find some consolation in a second try, Porter getting his first international points. Cooney shined since coming on, and Ireland will need to consider options for the next outing.
England clearly did their homework, and threw some dominant plays in the first half.
It is an interesting and uncertain year for most of the teams this year, and it's showing in these who-knows-what matches.
