At the height of the #coronavirus surge in NYC we wrote a silly song to help make us feel better, and we shared it with a few friends. People seem to like it, and this got me to wondering if I could upload it to music services. Turns out you need a distribution deal 
So I got one 
So, today, you can stream or purchase this silly song. Now, I don't actually want anyone to buy it, and I will post the audio file at the end of this thread... BUT...
I kind of want to see how music charts work, and it turns out that to scrape in to the charts at number 200 or, if we're lucky, number 199, you really don't need that much in sales, maybe 450 individual sales. Depends on the week apparently.
I like hacking processes, and I've managed to scrape into the Amazon bestseller list before now (with a parody diet book) so I'm really curious if we can sneak into the charts with this clip recorded on a regular phone.
The mere fact that we now have an artist profile on Spotify cracks me up no end.
So, if you're game for a laugh, I will post the links and you can stream or buy this silly ditty that honestly does not sound that good, but it made us feel better. And if you just want to listen, the audio file will be the last thing in this thread for you to keep forever as your own.
