My main memory of all that was that I was sat in the bar of Cattleman's in Sunnyvale while that Bronco chase was happening, it was on the telly in the baa. June 1994, Google tells me, that fits, I would've been there for work on integrating the VLM with the Jag CD-ROM. Should've been there a month or so earlier but was delayed due to having pneumonia.
@llamasoft_ox just looked at the map, Sunnyvale/Atari was a significant distance from LAX. I remember the chase and the media scrum that followed. Interesting how the brain puts in memory anchors for significant events when I can’t remember something I did two days ago.
