@llamasoft_ox I have never understood the idea of live coding as an observational entertainment? Like I want judgment on the mistakes I make or code algorithm approaches I take? I can’t imagine anything I’d less want to do. And I don’t want to watch anyone else do it, either.
Also, get off my lawn and slow down!
@jakesimpson @llamasoft_ox Live shader coding is somewhat like watching live DJing. One of the skills is to show the progression in entertaining ways, before putting it all together for the finale. But yes esoteric for sure.
@jakesimpson @llamasoft_ox Also I want to add that I think that "one of the WORST INVENTIONS EVER someone invented has to be 'pair coding' " That to me would be HELL or "how to transform me into a mass murderer" I don't think I could resist over 5 minutes before to EXPLODE
That's another reason "why I don't talk much of projects I do", I did in the past started to have "too many people" about "I would do this, you should do that" .. and then it's like "it's not MY project any more" ..
@jakesimpson @llamasoft_ox It’s pretty awesome.. this was the shader showdown final at Revision this year which I went to

fieldfx do weekly streamed byte jams which are fun
more deets on this part of the scene here:
@nifta @jakesimpson it's pretty cool to watch, although for me coding is a bit like peeing, can't do it if there's anyone else in the room. Respect to those that can though!
@llamasoft_ox @nifta @jakesimpson Huh same here I'd get quite upset if someone is watching me coding ( or in general doing things ) apart from cooking but again "as long as you are NOT too intensively watching/asking stuff". I am a person that "needs isolation and time to THINK", I am NOT "a super fast thinker" and I need to enter "in the zone". Also I'd feel "constantly judged" for what I do so no, not for me, even WORSE if someone would start telling me "what to do or not to do" !!!
@llamasoft_ox oh where are you? Demoparty? Conference?
