Not sure am able to read that height measurement as only do English not metric...
@Lstn2urmama @bougiewonderland @RL_Dane @ar1 @econads @mysturji @kibcol1049 ITYM "Imperial", not "English. In England we use metric. I gather, however, that in some far-flung reaches of the Empire they still use Imperial.

You may or not be surprised to learn Amerikans don't use Imperial units (think of their pint and gallon for example).
They declared war and gained independence before British Imperial measurements were standardised so have had to define all their strange deprecated units in terms of proper metric units.

This why I usually have to do interpretation of metric Temps...

As I mentioned previously I consider myself pretty much fluent in both metric and Imperial units.
Except temperature. How the hell can anyone tell what 0˚F is? Or 100˚F

Basically remember Hot or Cold
Anything over +25c is HOT
Put shorts away at -10c and bring in plants at +2c
When temp hits -40 it is the same in BOTH F or C COLD
NEVER stay outside in COLD wearing nightgown and sandals shoveling or sweeping snow for longer than 3-4 minutes at a time
@Lstn2urmama
Coincidentally ¹/16th inch = 1.6mm and 16 swg (approx).

@pthane @Lstn2urmama @xi_timpin @bougiewonderland @RL_Dane @ar1 @econads @mysturji @kibcol1049 Ah, yes, SWG. You can measure fuel consumption in SWG - the thickness of a tube of petrol the car would consume as it drove along.
@pthane @xi_timpin @TimWardCam @bougiewonderland @RL_Dane @ar1 @econads @mysturji @kibcol1049 this is where I have issues and even a problem getting a heel height for shoes these days...or even sizes are and can be screwy ...
