@willaful @romancelandia @romancebooks the #COYER #readathon for November is all about reading new releases, ie books published in 2023, and it started on Sunday. So hopefully I'll catch up on overdue netgalley ARCs, and as such I started Stars in Your Eyes by Kacen Callender last night -- so far so good! I'm also in the middle of listening to Love Theoretically by Ali Hazelwood, which I'm definitely enjoying, even if her books are very similar, and her heroines a bit eye rolley.

@Diva007 that sounds cute!

I had to try something at least a little scary for a #readathon, so I read House of Roots and Ruin by Erin A Craig, and definitely enjoyed it! Kind of gothic feel.

I tried The Whispering Dark by Kelly Andrew, but I think I'll DNF it because I was having issues, and some reviews don't give me hope those issues will change.

Found an audiobook copy of “The Shadow of the Wind” by Carlos Ruiz Zafón on Libby, so I took a looooong walk to a bakery and then my favorite park.

It’s the first truly heartbreakingly beautiful weekend in Seattle this year, and everyone is out running biking playing #readathon
