East/South East (8x 400w panels) panels generated - 17.5 kWh
West/North (6x 400w panels) panels generated - 11.3 kWh
Solar generated - 28.8 kWh
Solcast forecasted - 26.97 kWh
Imported from the grid - 0.2 kWh - Cost (inc standing charge) £0.53
Exported 8.9 kWh Export profit - £1.33
8.8 kWh went into the battery
Battery used - 5.2 kWh
House consumed - 15.2 kWh
Electricity cost for the day at 9pm (minus is a profit) is £-0.81

After decades of solar PV deployment, the world crossed the 1 TW (a million MW) line in 2022. Just two years later, after adding 0.6 TW in 2024, we already crossed the 2 TW mark too!

A nice round 27kWh of electricity generated today, a record for the year so far.

It's April 12th and I have now exported more electricity than I did for the whole of March.
Autumn is absolutely the best time of year.
Our tiny 1.5kW Solar system is currently supplying pretty much all of the power we're using at home for a good portion of the morning.
A combination of clear sunny skies, and lower temperatures (no need for aircon) has provided this result.
(once we get the bigger solar and battery installed, this should be the case for more of the year)
