At 11:02am on August 9th 1945 a plutonium atomic bomb was dropped on Nagasaki. It came only 3 days after the destruction of Hiroshima.
About one-third of Nagasaki City was destroyed and 150,000 people were killed or injured.

Nagasaki is an amazing city. It’s thoroughly Japanese yet has lots of interesting Dutch, French, Chinese and even English influences. Wonderful atmosphere too.
