Got #Droidian running on my #Pixel6.
No calls or SMS, but quite impressed with a lot of the other functionality. Looking forward to playing with it and learning more. Thanks to everyone who has developed #MobileLinux and all the other bits that make it work.
I'm particularly interested as a parent with kids who will likely be getting phones in the next few years. I need to daily drive to convince myself it's the right option for them
how cool to see it already working, i hope the 6a and 6 Pro will also get support soon. sadly did my 6a screen break... and i can't reflash my 6 Pro currently

@davidoclubb @linmob @droidian How to install droidian for pixel 6
@Open_Tensor @linmob @droidian from memory (and be careful, bricking is possible) use the Android flashing tool online to downgrade to Android 12, then enable developer and OEM debugging. Use fastboot to flash the droidian image to both positions and reboot.
There's much better info than this online, just what I can remember from doing it about 3 weeks ago.
The online Android flashing tool radically decreases the risk of bricking (from my perspective)
@davidoclubb @linmob @droidian Please give me the img file and detailed flashing instructions
@davidoclubb @linmob @droidian I can decompress a file like this, how do I flash it?
@Open_Tensor @linmob @droidian Take a look at the github page which helps with instructions https://github.com/FakeShell/droidian-pixel6
@Open_Tensor @linmob @droidian This is the android flashing tool that significantly de-risks the downgrade to Android 12 https://flash.android.com/
@davidoclubb I was just saying the other day how awesome it would be to have Droidian for my Pixel 8. For the time being I'm running @GrapheneOS on it.
@linmob @droidian
@jawsh @GrapheneOS @linmob @droidian latest update has enabled autorotate. Tested modem yesterday and nothing there yet. Love the regular updates and surprise growing functionality
