The 1970s Mastodon Mega Movie Poll
After 100 votes, only two votes separate Blazing Saddles and Young Frankenstein. If you would like to vote you will find the details on my timeline
Edit: after 102 votes (two came in while I wrote the original message) the scores are now equal.
In fairness, I also love:
Governor Lepetomane: “Thank you, Hedy, thank you.”
Hedley Lamarr: “It’s not Hedy, it’s Hedley. Hedley Lamarr.”
Governor Lepetomane: “What the hell are you worried about? This is 1874. You’ll be able to sue her.”
@HannahHowe It is not written that one must win. They are both good, so perhaps a tie is appropriate. It's not needed that there always be winners or losers.
Good movie about this: "On the Edge," with Bruce Dern (1986)
@HannahHowe I love both of those films, but…
I know it’s controversial, but this is I think my favourite Mel Brooks’ film (almost every reviewer hated it):
Life Stinks (1991)
