@apps I don't she to be able to long press and copy a toots content from the timeline any more. I have to open the actual tweet.

I'm sure I used to be able to do that before.

Well, we can't reproduce that issue currently. You long press the text with no hyperlinks?

So from the home timeline if I long press the text nothing happens at all

If I open the toot thread and long press it selects the word under my finger. Which I can then expand to copy the whole text.
