I haven't touched a bass in over 12 years and even back then I was garbage. I don't know how to play any instrument.
For my 30th I decided to buy an amp and a cheap bass. It sat unused for 6 months, I had taken maybe an hour or two to play it but not much anyways.
A few days ago I bought Rocksmith, downloaded a few custom tracks to it and I've both played more over the weekend than I've ever before and I'm also not too bad at it either. It's been fun, my fingers are on blisters hah
I do co-own a six string bass with my brother but quickly learned that it's harder to learn with so I've not touched it in ages :D
