Work in progress...I am now in the dangerzone of overcooked territory. Have I spent hours on this? Yes. Must I learn to let go of outcomes? Also yes.
A bit of an experiment combing my two loves - oil painting and embroidery. We will see how this goes!
Quickie personal hat project. Made it, using a Brother SE1900 sewing & embroidery machine. The hardest part was pinning the hat firmly. The actual embroidery itself was fast since it was done by a machine.

#Embroidered some additions to my #sampler of our house and garden. A frog from our small #wildlife pond, the nearby #oak tree and a thistle which we grow for the #bees. The garden is to the front and side of the house, a mix of flowers, fruit and veg with a shed and greenhouse.
An early 14thC #angel, playing a #lute (perhaps the earliest English image of one) on a quizzical dapple grey horse, wonders where his #medieval year has gone - on the gorgeous Steeple Aston cope #embroidered sometime in the 1330s. The image was embroidered in gilded silver thread and multi-coloured silks on a (possibly originally red) cloth of woven silk.

Anyone have any #recommendations for custom #embroidered #patches in small (1-5 units) batches, that can be shipped to #Norway? I'm thinking of getting a couple of #QR codes (my #PokémonGO and #WizardsUnite #friendCodes, as well my profile URL) as patches to put on my backpack and/or jacket, and I'm curious to the costs.
