aha #Quest3 version 72 at last. Hopefully I can leave the 2 hand controllers in the box for ever now.
They ate AA batteries way fast.
I just watched the Everest VR documentary on the Quest 3. Wow, the 360-degree 3D footage makes you feel as if you're actually there, traveling along with the climbers. Recommended, but you need to experience it in high-definition VR 3D to sense the height and look around to enjoy the gorgeous mountain scenery. Not suitable for persons with fear of heights! 
Had my weirdest VR experience ever yesterday.
Got me the app Fly on Meta's black friday sale. Nice App. First flew over a few cities I knew. All nice and cool.
Then I typed "Mount Everest" and was transported there. And immediately was caught by an INTENSE fear of height. This feeling of "this is so wide and I am so high up". Had to take the headset down.
That is immersion 
Added even more fun to this VR title screen.

Since I bought a Quest 3 VR headset, I rediscovered the joy of gaming, for the first time in many years (A hundred thousand years ago I was a game developer myself ).
My favorite games so far are:
● Beat Saber
● Eleven Table Tennis
● Pistol Whip
● Painting VR (not really a game, but lots of fun)
● The Thrill of the Fight
● Walkabout Mini Golf
Nach meinen ersten paar Stunden mit meiner Meta Quest 3 verstehe ich, dass sich @truhe über die Schwierigkeiten der PSVR2, ein scharfes Bild zu bekommen. Überstülpen, scharf, ohne Herumkalibrieren und Verstellen.
Ansonsten sehr feiner Pass-Through, und sehr nett, Offline-Videos auf Amazon Prime zu schauen. Morgen im Auto auf Trainingsende vom Kind warten mit Kinoerlebnis am Parkplatz :-)

#Quest3 #VR users: what headphones, if any, do you use? I've been using the Bionik Mantis headphones ( https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0735X5M4X ) but they kinda sorta don't really fit, and limit the head strap I can use with them. Been considering a different head strap, which would require new headphones.
My birthday is coming up and I'm contemplating upgrading from #Meta #Quest2 to #Quest3, thoughts? Worth it? How does the comfort compare? Are there any downsides?
The only game I'm thinking of getting that might really benefit from it is the #Riven remake, since I don't have a rig for PCVR, the upgraded standalone hardware will make a difference.
I do worry a bit about headaches due to weight/balance issues, but I get those on the Quest 2 sometimes currently.

@_Davidsmith @divdev @jordibruin I'm envious. I still haven't been able to get anything like this working for my Mac using the #Quest3. Though I can make a single monitor huge and rearrange the windows and shrink fonts, I suppose .

Just wanted to share this for #VR #gamers as the gunbelt calibration system used in #ArizonaSunshine2
is so simple it is genius in VR!
Just grab your ammo belt and move it where you want it and then do the same for your gunholders.
No stupid sliders or playing with numbers.
Wish all VR shooters set up like this!!!
