There are various WordPress plugins to block AI bots. I strongly suggest WP and CP site owners choose one and install it.

F**king Up WordPress!
Forking might let people follow their vision, but at what cost?
Site reorganization – Forums closed
Over the course of many weeks I’ve been unhappy with how my website works. Many attempts to remedy this have failed but last night I finally realized that the forums were a real bother, along with th[…]

Question: Is WebSub (formerly PubSubHubBub) still relevant these days? And if so, to what extent?
Edit: I totally forgot to say why I'm asking. I'm cleaning up old blog settings and plugins, and wondering whether it's worth keeping the WebSub support or not.
Reassuring article about the dispute between #Automatic and #WP Engine from the perspective of the #classicpress. I think it's time to move.
Sigh The latest version of my go-to caching plugin, WP Super Cache, is marked as requiring WordPress 6.6 or later -- which means it won't install on ClassicPress (which is forked from WP 6.3) anymore.

Developers and website owners concerned about what's happening with #WordPress should take a close look at #ClassicPress, a well-established fork of WP (since 2018/2019). CP could use more users and, of course, more developers (core, plugins, themes), but I think you'll like the community vibe, particularly at forums.classicpress.net
Shit continues to roll downhill at WordPress. I'd sincerely like to encourage all #WordPress plugin developers to make sure their plugins are compatible with #ClassicPress and other WP forks.
