Any recommendations for good crafts for someone with #ADHD?
No needles (sewing, etc).
I am very literally asking for a friend. Please direct follow up questions to @Uselessgeneration .
Edited cos I typoed!

Do you mean food crafts or good crafts?
@suearcher @alexisbushnell @Uselessgeneration well, i mean I can think of a few things that fall under the realm of crafts (as in some productive time sink)with foods. I mean baking bread from scratch including growing your own artisanal wheat... custom sourdough starters etc. There's making edible floral arrangements (mmm. charcuterie flowers), chocolate making. Hell, I'd go so far as to say making your own pasta from scratch counts as a craft, its time consuming enough (but soooo worth it.)
@suearcher @Uselessgeneration I did in fact mean good!
Have edited now
@alexisbushnell @Uselessgeneration Hmm, some of my favourites: crochet, digital drawing + pixel art, pottery, tinkering with microelectronics/soldering...
Then maybe also scrapbooking, linocut (maybe too pointy?), making jewelry/bracelets...
@alexisbushnell @Uselessgeneration sculpture and linocuts come to mind. Hubby has ADHD and has several of these projects going at a time. He works on what he fancies at the time. Eventually they all get done.

Painting (acrylics act more like oil, but are water washable) which can be original art, or colouring. Paint by numbers, and those paint & eat/drink places are popular for a reason.
The diamond art version that's big right now, or bedazzling if you're over 40
If they're an extrovert, drink mixing (alcoholic or non) can be fun.
Same with baking. Pick a basic cookie recipe you like and figure out how you can change it!
Making music playlists/mix tapes.
@deirdrebeth @alexisbushnellin still in my 30s for another 2 weeks
@deirdrebeth Agreed! I do like baking. The recipes give structure, but there's a lot of room to explore. Cookies have a great effort-to-reward ratio. But I absolutely must use a timer, otherwise I am prone to wandering off for "just a minute" and then burning things. @alexisbushnell
